Job Title: Apprentice Finance Assistant
Salary: £30,000 per year
Location: Wimbledon, All England Lawn Tennis Club, London, SW19 5AG
Reporting to: Finance Business Partner
Hours/working pattern: 9:00 AM – 5:30 PM, however flexibility will be required to work evenings and weekends in the lead up and during the Wimbledon Championships.

We\’re recruiting an Apprentice Finance Assistant to support the Levy team at Wimbledon!
You do not need to have any experience to apply for this vacancy as full training will be provided as part of the Apprenticeship!
On completion of the Apprenticeship you will achieve the Finance Assistant L2 and become a qualified Finance Assistant.
Your Key Responsibilities Will Include:
- Management of the Accounts email inbox
- Close Nexus accounting system weekly
- Oversee the purchase order process, to ensure that the Goods Received Log (GRL) is always up to date so that costs are recognised in the correct period
- Credit control for outstanding invoices, liaising with internal and external contacts as necessary
- Completion of supplier statement reconciliations on a regular basis
- Month end accounting entries
- Preparation of finance information for weekly forecasting calls
- Supporting with new supplier set ups and tracking the process through to completion
- Answer the telephone, deal with telephone enquiries, and take messages in a polite and professional manner
