Day-to-Day Responsibilities
- Define and own product strategy, roadmap, and backlog
- Lead experiments to improve article β retail conversion flows
- Analyse traffic, CTR, conversion and user behaviour with Analytics
- Manage vendor and travel tech integrations (APIs, booking flows, pricing feeds)
- Partner with Commercial & Head of Retail on pricing, offers, sales performance
- Work with Marketing on acquisition, retention, CRM and subscriber value exchange
- Scope and cost future phases, including resource needs
- Provide weekly stakeholder updates and phase gating recommendations
Candidate Profile
Must Have:
- Strong Product Manager experience (7+ years)
- Background in eCommerce, travel, marketplaces, or subscription products
- Proven ability to run experiments and evaluate insights
- Commercial and data-driven mindset (conversion, LTV, KPIs, unit economics)
- Comfortable influencing senior stakeholders
- Can operate autonomously in fast-moving environments
Nice to Have:
- Experience with travel booking systems and/or API integration
- News / digital media background
- Experience in subscription-led or membership-led businesses
- Understanding of editorial or content ecosystems
Success Looks Like
- Within 6 months, this person should deliver:
- A clear, validated product direction and roadmap
- A structured testing and optimisation pipeline
- Improved CTR and conversion across the travel path-to-purchase
- Phase gating recommendations backed by data and commercial KPIs
