Overview:
We are looking for an experienced Power Platform Migration Lead to manage and deliver a full Microsoft 365 tenant-to-tenant migration. The role covers end-to-end responsibility for the discovery, packaging, and migration of Power Platform components, including Power Apps, Power BI, Power Automate, and Dataverse, while ensuring operational continuity, data integrity, and governance alignment.
This is a hands-on delivery role suited to a candidate with proven enterprise-level migration experience and deep understanding of the Power Platform ecosystem.
Key Responsibilities:

Lead the migration of Power Platform assets between Microsoft 365 tenants, including:
Power Apps (Canvas, Model-driven, embedded)
- Power Automate flows
- Power BI reports and datasets
- Dataverse environments and schema
- Custom connectors, shared connections, and gateways
- Conduct full discovery of the source tenant to identify asset owners, usage patterns, licensing, data connectors, and dependencies
- Classify apps and solutions (business-critical, deprecated, personal use)

Design and implement a phased migration approach, including:
Packaging solutions using managed/unmanaged methods
- Rebuilding environment variables, flows, and connectors in the target tenant
- Testing and validating all migrated components
- Apply governance and security controls, including DLP policies, via Power Platform Admin Center
- Collaborate with internal teams and app owners to ensure smooth transition and post-migration support
- Support adoption of the Power Platform Center of Excellence (CoE) Starter Kit in the new environment
- Document all processes, remediations, and testing outcomes in detail
- Required Skills & Experience:
- 4+ years of hands-on experience in Power Platform (Power Apps, Power BI, Power Automate)
- Direct experience leading tenant-to-tenant migrations
- Strong skills in solution packaging (managed/unmanaged) and Dataverse ALM
- Familiarity with governance enforcement and DLP configuration in Power Platform Admin Center
- Proficient in scripting tools (PowerShell, Power Platform CLI, Graph API, or M365 CLI)
- Demonstrated ability to document and report on migration status and test results
Preferred Qualifications:
- Microsoft certifications: PL-100, PL-400, PL-600
- Familiarity with the CoE Starter Kit
- Experience with third-party tools (e.g., FluentPro, AvePoint, ShareGate)
