The role is hands-on and cross-functional, with plenty of scope to set standards, shape architecture, and build for scale.
Responsibilities

- Design scalable, auditable flows (including regulated onboarding such as KYC) and improve data quality/governance.
- Build and maintain integrations with internal services and third-party platforms (APIs, middleware/iPaaS).
- Collaborate with front-end engineers on custom UIs over Salesforce (e.g., Lightning/Aura, embedded apps).
- Define platform standards for access controls, data model, automation, and CI/CD/DevOps.
- Create analytics and reporting that support decision-making.
- Champion best practices and enable colleagues through documentation and enablement.
Requirements
- Strong Salesforce engineering experience spanning Apex, Lightning, Flows and SOQL, comfortable across config and code.
- Clear communicator who can translate business needs into robust technical designs.
- Experience in regulated environments and a strong appreciation for data quality, security and governance.
- Integration experience (REST/event-driven patterns, APIs, middleware) and comfort working across domains.
- A builder's mindset β happy in a small team, eager to set standards, and focused on scalability.
Nice to have
- Experience establishing CI/CD for Salesforce (e.g., SFDX/DevOps Center) and environment strategy.
- Exposure to financial services or other regulated sectors.
- Familiarity with analytics/BI or modern front-end frameworks.
High ownership from day one as the platform lead. Direct impact on business-critical workflows and tooling. Collaborative environment with room to shape the roadmap.
