We’re hiring a VP of Data Engineering to lead a large-scale data transformation program within the London Market insurance space. This is a senior-level role for someone who combines hands-on Snowflake expertise with experience delivering complex data initiatives in regulated financial environments.
This is a priority hire for an ongoing programme with immediate start potential.
About the Role
You’ll take ownership of data architecture, engineering leadership, and Snowflake platform delivery for a major insurance transformation. The focus will be on:
- Designing and optimising data pipelines and ETL workflows using Snowflake on AWS
- Leading high-performing teams to deliver secure, scalable data warehousing solutions
- Collaborating with stakeholders across engineering, analytics, and operations
- Owning performance, monitoring, and orchestration using tools like Airflow, DBT, and Glue
- Hybrid (UK-based)
- London Market insurance experience is essential
- Inside IR35
About You
- Proven leadership in data engineering, with deep Snowflake expertise
- Experience delivering within the London Market insurance or specialty insurance ecosystem
- Strong proficiency with SQL, Python, and cloud services (AWS)
