We're hiring a Linux Systems Engineer to join a growing Storage Engineering team, focused on building and integrating a new high-performance computing (HPC) storage environment. This is a hands-on, mid-level role ideal for someone who enjoys working across systems, storage, and automation.
Key Responsibilities
- Integrate storage platforms with monitoring, alerting, and secure access systems
- Collaborate with Linux, security, network, and datacentre teams to ensure seamless platform integration
- Work with storage vendors to troubleshoot and resolve issues
- Create and run test plans to validate storage system performance and compliance
- Document procedures and help standardise processes for storage operations
- Automate compliance testing and monitoring tasks where possible
What We're Looking For
- ~3–5 years of experience in Linux system administration (RHEL, CentOS, or Ubuntu)
- Strong scripting skills (Bash, Python, or Go)
- Experience with tools like Ansible and Terraform
