Our client is looking for an experienced eCommerce Solution Architect to help shape the future of their digital commerce landscape. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a well-established architecture practice, working alongside 50+ architects and technology specialists in a highly collaborative environment with strong investment in learning and development.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Leading end-to-end solution design across modern eCommerce platforms
- Designing scalable, enterprise-grade architectures across areas such as:
- Front-end & mobile commerce
- Order management
- Content management
- Search & personalisation
- Payments & marketplaces
- Working with leading technologies including Salesforce Commerce Cloud, Amplience, Algolia, Dynamic Yield, Blue Yonder and Bringg
- Collaborating with engineering, security, infrastructure and data teams to deliver innovative, fit-for-purpose solutions
- Presenting architecture proposals and gaining stakeholder buy-in across technical and non-technical audiences
What We’re Looking For
- Strong experience designing enterprise eCommerce solutions
- Good understanding of headless / composable commerce architecture
- Experience working in large-scale enterprise environments
- Strong integration architecture knowledge and design pattern awareness
- Ability to balance scalability, quality, cost and delivery timelines
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
Nice to Have
- Retail or omnichannel commerce experience
- Exposure to fulfilment, inventory or supply chain systems
- Knowledge of TOGAF or modern architecture frameworks
- Experience working within Agile delivery environments
