We are hiring an experienced Identity Governance & Administration (IGA) Engineer to join a growing Information Security team within a leading global organisation. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and managing IGA solutions to ensure secure and efficient identity lifecycle management. You will collaborate with IT, HR, and Security teams to maintain regulatory compliance, enforce access policies, and drive automation across identity-related processes. This position requires strong technical expertise in IGA platforms, solid problem-solving capabilities, and a commitment to security best practices.
Key Responsibilities
- Identity Lifecycle Management
- Design and maintain automated processes for user provisioning, modification, and deprovisioning
- Ensure alignment between identity lifecycle policies and organisational objectives
- Integrate IGA solutions with HR systems, directories, and enterprise applications
- Access Governance
- Define and implement role-based access controls (RBAC) and attribute-based access controls (ABAC)
- Support remediation and ongoing maintenance of Active Directory groups in line with governance policies
- Manage periodic access certifications and access reviews across systems and applications
- IGA Platform Management
- Configure, maintain, and enhance IGA platforms (e.g., SailPoint, Saviynt, or similar)
- Monitor platform performance and proactively address system issues
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders and vendors to optimise IGA capabilities
- Compliance & Audit Support
- Ensure IGA processes align with regulatory requirements (SOX, GDPR, ISO 27001)
- Prepare documentation and evidence for internal and external audits
- Support remediation activities related to audit findings
- Security & Continuous Improvement
- Contribute to identity-related risk assessments
- Support the development of identity governance policies and standards
- Identify automation opportunities to improve efficiency and reduce manual effort
- Stay current with industry trends and best practices in IGA
Must Have
- +5 years of experience in Identity Governance or a related IAM role
- Hands-on experience with IGA platforms such as SailPoint, Saviynt, or similar
- Strong understanding of RBAC, ABAC, SSO, MFA, and Active Directory group structures
- Experience supporting access certifications and governance processes
- Familiarity with compliance frameworks such as ISO 27001, SOX, or GDPR
- Scripting and automation skills (PowerShell, Python, or similar)
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
Nice to Have
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or related field
- Certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or IAM-specific certifications
- SailPoint certifications
- Experience working in a regulated financial services environment
