Levy and Co Solicitors are looking for Criminal Defence Solicitors. Duty accredited preferred, but not essential, and we will consider newly qualified solicitors who have an interest in crime and wish to qualify as a Duty Solicitor. Competitive Salary offered and competitive out of hours payment scheme; we offer generous annual leave and a bonus birthday day off.
About the Role
We are seeking dedicated and skilled criminal solicitors. The ideal candidates will have a strong understanding of criminal defence law and practice. We are a paperless office and the ability to work digitally is essential.
Key responsibilities:
- Preparing and managing criminal defence cases from start to case completion
- Representing clients at court and police stations
- Supporting and supervising junior team members where required
- Maintaining high professional standards and contributing to the development of the department
- Building strong working relationships with clients, counsel, experts, and external agencies
