We are supporting a leading digital assets firm in their search for an experienced Operations Associate to join their team on an initial 6-month contract.
The successful candidate will bring approximately 10 years of experience in financial services operations, with hands-on digital asset experience essential. This role requires someone who can work effectively in a fast-paced trading environment, supporting day-to-day operational activities across traditional and digital asset markets.
Key Responsibilities
- Support daily operational processes across digital asset trading, settlement and reconciliation.
- Oversee trade lifecycle activities, ensuring accurate and timely processing of transactions.
- Manage settlement processes, investigate discrepancies and resolve operational issues.
- Liaise with internal trading, technology, compliance and finance teams to ensure smooth operational workflows.
- Identify opportunities to improve operational efficiency, controls and processes.
- Support operational risk management and ensure adherence to internal policies and regulatory requirements.
- Assist with the development and enhancement of operational procedures.
Key Requirements
- Approximately 10 years of experience in financial services operations, ideally within investment banking, trading or digital assets.
- Previous hands-on experience in digital asset operations is essential.
- Strong understanding of trade lifecycle management, settlements and reconciliations.
- Familiarity with cryptocurrency trading infrastructure, exchanges, custodians and digital asset settlement processes.
- Experience working within a fast-paced trading or financial markets environment.
- Strong analytical skills, attention to detail and the ability to resolve complex operational issues.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively across multiple teams.
- Ability to hit the ground running within a contract environment.
