We are currently working on an exciting opportunity for a Relationship Support Officer to join a growing banking team specialising in property finance. The role will support the management of a portfolio of Commercial and SME clients, including property investors, across a range of lending products.
This is an excellent opportunity for a junior banking professional looking to develop their career within a credit-focused, client-facing environment, supporting Relationship Managers across a portfolio of lending clients.
Key Responsibilities- Supporting Relationship Managers in the day-to-day management of a Commercial / SME client portfolio
- Assisting with the preparation and review of credit applications and lending proposals
- Conducting financial analysis and reviewing client financial information
- Coordinating documentation and ensuring accuracy in line with internal processes
- Monitoring loan facilities and supporting ongoing portfolio reviews
- Liaising with internal teams and external stakeholders to support deal progression
- Ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, including KYC and AML
- 1–3 years’ experience within a banking or financial services environment
- Exposure to lending, credit analysis, or loan/mortgage processes
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to review financial information
- Good understanding of banking products and credit processes
- Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
- Confident communicator with the ability to work with both clients and internal teams
- Experience supporting loan or mortgage applications
- Exposure to property finance or Buy-to-Let lending (beneficial, not essential)
- Background in a credit, lending, or relationship support role
