Levo is a specialist automotive agency, helping some of the world’s most recognised brands connect data, CRM, marketing and digital to deliver measurable growth. You will be responsible for delivering highly targeted, data-driven marketing campaigns across a range of clients.

Founded in January 2022, we’ve experienced significant growth, from three founders to a team of over 30. We currently work with some of the biggest automotive brands in the world and have plans to continue growing in the UK and abroad.

For the right candidate, this is an exciting opportunity to be part of a dynamic, creative and highly ambitious team. You’ll have a high degree of autonomy and be valued and recognised for your contribution as the business looks to achieve its next phase of growth targets.

As well as the opportunity to work with the most recognised names in the automotive space, you’ll be supported by a team at the top of their game who will help you thrive, develop your skills and progress.

We are looking for an Account Director to lead some of Levo’s key client relationships, taking overall responsibility for client strategy and account performance.

In this senior role, you will become a trusted strategic partner to our clients, developing a deep understanding of their business, objectives and challenges, and using the full breadth of Levo’s capabilities across data, CRM, marketing and digital to help them achieve their goals.

The successful candidate must be able to look beyond individual campaigns and projects, identifying the bigger opportunities for our clients and translating these into clear strategies, plans and briefs. You will challenge thinking where appropriate, bring new ideas to the table, and ensure Levo continually adds value beyond the activity we are directly responsible for delivering.

You will also lead the account team, providing clear direction and ensuring we consistently deliver high-quality work. Alongside this, you will take responsibility for the commercial performance and growth of your accounts, identifying opportunities to expand our relationships and increase the value we deliver to both our clients and Levo.

Responsibilities

  • Lead some of Levo’s key client relationships, becoming a trusted strategic partner and an invaluable extension of their senior team.
  • Develop a deep understanding of each client’s business, strategy, objectives and challenges, ensuring Levo’s activity is aligned to helping them achieve their wider goals.
  • Develop overarching client strategies and annual plans, translating these into clear priorities, projects and briefs for the wider Levo team.
  • Build strong relationships across senior client stakeholder groups, understanding key decision makers, influencers and wider stakeholder dynamics.
  • Bring proactive ideas, insight and recommendations to clients, ensuring Levo continually adds value beyond the activity we are directly responsible for delivering.
  • Positively challenge clients and their thinking where appropriate, using insight, experience and evidence to recommend the best approach.
  • Lead senior client meetings, strategic reviews, presentations and pitches, communicating complex information clearly and compellingly.
  • Take overall accountability for the performance and quality of your accounts, ensuring Levo does what we say we will and delivers against agreed client objectives.
  • Lead and coordinate cross-functional teams across Account Management, Creative, Data, CRM and Digital, bringing the right expertise into projects at the right time.
  • Provide direction and support to Account Managers and Account Executives, holding the team accountable for delivering the best possible outcomes.
  • Manage, develop and mentor members of the Account Management team, providing regular feedback, coaching and opportunities for individuals to grow.
  • Take overall commercial responsibility for your accounts, including revenue, profitability, budgets, contracts and forecasting.
  • Identify and develop opportunities to grow existing client relationships, proactively introducing new ideas, services and capabilities that solve client challenges.
  • Work with internal teams to accurately scope and cost client projects, balancing the best possible client outcome with commercial performance.
  • Establish measurable objectives and KPIs, using reporting, data and insight to demonstrate performance and make recommendations for continual optimisation.
  • Use insight and research to develop a point of view on our clients’ businesses and the wider automotive industry, bringing new and relevant thinking into client conversations.
  • Identify risks and opportunities across accounts early, taking ownership and bringing together the right stakeholders to resolve issues or capitalise on opportunities.
  • Maintain exceptionally high standards across all client work, challenging the team to continually improve the quality, effectiveness and efficiency of what we deliver.
  • Contribute to the wider development of Levo, sharing best practice across accounts and identifying opportunities to improve our services, processes and ways of working.

We are looking for someone with significant account management experience, ideally within an agency or similarly fast-paced client environment. Automotive experience is also desirable, however the right attitude, strategic thinking and ability to build trusted relationships with senior clients are just as important.

We want someone to join our team who has the following attributes:

  • Strategic thinking – able to see the bigger picture, understand a client’s business objectives and turn complex challenges into clear strategies and actionable plans.
  • Client leadership – confident building trusted relationships with senior stakeholders, becoming someone clients actively seek out for advice and guidance.
  • Commercially minded – understands the commercial performance of an account and actively looks for opportunities to increase client value, revenue and profitability.
  • Growth minded – constantly looking for opportunities to solve our clients’ problems, develop existing relationships and grow Levo’s role within their business.
  • Leadership – able to create clarity and direction for a team, holding people accountable while coaching, supporting and developing those around them.
  • Confidence – comfortable putting forward a point of view, challenging clients and colleagues constructively, and making difficult decisions when required.
  • Communication – an excellent communicator and presenter, able to simplify complex subjects and engage everyone from delivery teams through to senior client stakeholders.
  • Insightful and curious – naturally asks questions, looks beyond the obvious and combines data, research, experience and different perspectives to create meaningful insight.
  • Creative thinking – willing to challenge convention, explore different approaches and bring new ideas to our clients and the wider Levo team.
  • Results focused – takes ownership and accountability for outcomes, not simply activity, and continually pushes the team towards the best possible result.
  • Resilience – calm and professional under pressure, able to lead clients and teams confidently through challenging situations.
  • Collaboration – excels at bringing together different people and areas of expertise, whether across Levo, our clients or external partners.
  • Organisation/autonomy – comfortable managing multiple complex accounts and priorities, making strategic decisions around where time and resource are best focused.
  • Attention to detail – maintains exceptionally high standards and can stand back from the detail to assess whether the overall output achieves the client’s objective.
  • Ambitious – wants to play a significant role in Levo’s continued growth, helping develop our clients, our people and the wider business.
