We are working with a leading Accountancy Practice that is looking to appoint an experienced Restructuring Director to join their growing Financial Services team in London.
This is a senior-level opportunity for someone with a strong background in financial services restructuring, insolvency, and advisory work. You’ll be instrumental in supporting banks, lenders, and institutions through periods of financial stress and operational challenge, and help shape the strategic growth of the service line.
What you’ll be doing:
Lead high-profile restructuring and insolvency assignments within the financial services sector
Prepare reports and recommendations for stakeholders, lenders, and regulatory bodies
Support partners in business development activities and pitch preparation
Contribute to growing market presence by attending and hosting networking events
Manage teams across multiple assignments while coaching and mentoring staff
Identify opportunities to develop new services and deepen client relationships
Deliver contingency planning, wind-downs, IBRs, and formal insolvency appointments
Requirements:
ACA/ACCA qualified (or equivalent)
Proven track record of leading complex engagements and managing multiple stakeholders
Previous exposure to independent business reviews, short-term cash flow reviews, and formal insolvency processes
Experience managing or mentoring a team of professionals
Excellent commercial awareness and strong client relationship skills
Additional insolvency qualifications, such as CPI or JIEB would be advantageous
