A leading restructuring and insolvency firm is seeking a skilled Senior Insolvency Professional to join their team. With a rise in new work, this is an exciting opportunity to take on a challenging and diverse role that will focus on advisory work with a mix of formal insolvency tasks.
Key Responsibilities:- Providing expert advice to creditors on their financing risks through Independent Business Reviews
- Advising distressed and insolvent companies on restructuring and recovery strategies
- Helping underperforming businesses to improve their cash flow
- Building financial forecast models to evaluate the long-term viability of companies and advising lenders on short-term lending options
- Conducting technical research and drafting advisory reports for external parties
- Leading and mentoring a team of junior professionals, setting workloads, conducting performance evaluations, providing feedback and delivering training and coaching
As an experienced networker, you will play an active role in the firm’s marketing efforts by organising and attending events. You will have the opportunity to develop new initiatives and take ownership of client relationships, helping to grow the department.
Qualifications:- ACA/ACCA qualified with a minimum of 12 months of experience of Independent Business Reviews in Corporate Recovery
- Proven experience in a similar role and a strong understanding of insolvency and restructuring
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong leadership and mentoring skills
- Proactive, results-driven and able to work well under pressure
