We are currently recruiting for a Principal Product Business Analyst to join a high-performing Product team focused on driving subscription growth and customer engagement. This is a senior leadership opportunity for an experienced Product Business Analyst who thrives on leading complex discovery initiatives, influencing strategic product decisions, and developing analytical excellence across teams.

The Role

As the lead analytical expert within the Subscription Growth pillar, you will be responsible for driving discovery on high-priority product initiatives, shaping business analysis standards and methodologies, and ensuring product decisions are aligned with commercial objectives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead discovery and analysis for complex, high-impact product initiatives.
  • Define and maintain business analysis standards, frameworks, and best practices.
  • Mentor and support Senior Business Analysts, helping to develop capability across the team.
  • Partner with Product, Technology, Data, and business stakeholders to drive strategic decision-making.
  • Ensure analytical resources are focused on the highest-value opportunities.
  • Connect product initiatives to measurable commercial outcomes, including revenue growth and operational efficiency.
  • Champion the adoption of AI tools and methodologies to improve analytical effectiveness and decision-making.

Requirements

  • Extensive experience leading business analysis and discovery within complex digital product environments.
  • Strong stakeholder management skills, including experience influencing senior and executive-level audiences.
  • Proven experience managing, mentoring, and developing Business Analysts.
  • Commercially focused mindset with the ability to link analysis and product decisions to business performance.
  • Demonstrated success in improving business analysis practices, frameworks, and methodologies.
  • Strong prioritisation, planning, and strategic thinking capabilities.
  • Experience conducting market and competitive analysis to inform product strategy.
  • Advanced use of AI tools and experience embedding AI-enabled ways of working within teams.
