We are recruiting for a skilled and commercially aware Data Analyst to join a growing Data Assurance & Quality team within a large, regulated organisation undergoing significant digital and data transformation. This role is a 12 month FTC.
The Role
As a Data Analyst within the Data Assurance & Quality function, you will work closely with Data Stewards, governance leads, and business stakeholders to identify data quality issues, improve reporting standards, and strengthen governance controls across the organisation. This role combines:
- Data analysis

Key Responsibilities
- Investigate data issues, identify root causes, and recommend solutions to improve data accuracy and integrity
- Drive and support business stakeholders and Data Stewards in creating and delivering data improvement plans
- Define and monitor data quality and performance metrics aligned to business rules and governance standards
- Produce data quality reports, dashboards, and scorecards, communicating findings clearly to business stakeholders
- Maintain records of end-to-end data processing and information inventories to support audit and regulatory requirements
- Support the completion and assurance of regulatory returns and compliance reporting
- Assess the impact of data-related changes and ensure compliance with agreed data standards and definitions
- Support Data Governance Forums and working groups through reporting, engagement, and governance activities
- Work collaboratively across business and technical teams to improve data controls and processes
Essential Skills & Experience
- Previous experience in a Data Analyst, Data Quality Analyst, MI Analyst, or similar role
- Strong experience with data governance and data quality frameworks
- Strong SQL skills
- Experience with reporting and dashboarding tools such as Power BI
- Advanced Excel skills
- Experience creating data quality metrics, reports, and scorecards
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Experience working with stakeholders across technical and non-technical teams
- Ability to investigate and resolve complex data issues
- Understanding of governance, audit, and regulatory reporting environments
