International Deployability Project Manager

London OR Oxford (Hybrid Working) | Business Operations

Help us make international deployment happen.

We’re looking for a Project Manager to join our Business Operations team and play a key role in improving how we deploy our UK‑based workforce internationally.

This is a role for someone who enjoys getting stuck in. One day you could be analysing workforce data and building a picture of how many people could potentially move to Australia or the US; the next, you could be working with HR, resourcing or an individual employee to help navigate visa requirements and paperwork.

It’s a genuine two-halves role: strategic analysis and hands‑on execution .

What you’ll be doing

You’ll help us build a clear view of our international deployability and turn that insight into action. This will include:

  • Developing and supporting our international deployability model, bringing together data to understand who could potentially relocate or deploy internationally.
  • Analysing different Australian and US visa routes and assessing how these could apply to our workforce.
  • Pulling together data from different teams, challenging assumptions and turning complex information into clear, actionable recommendations.
  • Supporting the practical management and processing of visa applications, documentation and associated paperwork.
  • Working closely with HR, resourcing, consultants and other internal stakeholders to gather information and keep international deployment moving.
  • Building strong relationships across the business and becoming a trusted point of contact for international mobility questions.
  • Coordinating actions across multiple stakeholders, keeping track of dependencies and making sure things get done.
  • Helping the wider Business Operations team across other projects and priorities where needed.

About you

We’re looking for someone who is commercially minded, curious and hands‑on.

You don't need to have followed a traditional Business Operations career path. You might come from consulting, project management, operations, mobility, HR or a similar environment — what matters most is that you can move comfortably between analysis and execution.

You'll likely be someone who:

  • Is naturally can‑do and enjoys taking ownership rather than waiting to be told what to do.
  • Can take a messy question, work through the data and turn it into a clear answer or recommendation.
  • Is comfortable working across multiple topics and picking up new areas quickly.
  • Builds rapport easily and is confident working with lots of different people and teams.
  • Is equally happy building an analysis in Excel as they are getting into the detail of a visa application or piece of paperwork.
  • Can challenge information constructively and ask the right questions.
  • Is organised, pragmatic and able to keep multiple workstreams moving at once.
  • Enjoys being part of a small, close‑knit team where everyone gets stuck in and supports each other.

The kind of background we're interested in

We’re particularly interested in people who have experience in a consultancy or professional services environment and are now looking for a role where they can take broader ownership and see things through to delivery.

You might have spent a few years in consulting and be looking for an opportunity where you can turn your hand to a range of challenges, work closely with the business and have a tangible impact.

Experience of international mobility, visas or workforce deployment would be useful, but isn't essential. The right attitude, analytical ability and willingness to get stuck in are more important.

This is an opportunity to join a small Business Operations team and have a real impact on how we operate internationally.

You’ll have the opportunity to work on high‑profile, commercially important questions while also being close to the practical delivery. You’ll work with people across the business, build a broad understanding of how the organisation operates and help shape our approach to international deployment.

If you're someone who likes solving problems, working with people and getting things done, we'd love to hear from you.
