We're recruiting for an experienced Lead Business Analyst to join a large not-for-profit housing organisation during a significant period of transformation and change. This is an excellent opportunity for a senior BA leader who enjoys operating across strategy, analysis, and delivery while helping shape and mature a high-performing Business Analysis practice.

The Role

You'll lead a team of Business Analysts while partnering closely with architecture, service design, programme delivery, and wider transformation teams to drive complex business and technology change initiatives. The role covers the full lifecycle – from discovery and root cause analysis through to solution design, delivery support, testing, and benefits realisation.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Leading, mentoring, and developing a team of Business Analysts
  • Driving BA best practice, frameworks, governance, and continuous improvement
  • Supporting enterprise-wide transformation programmes and change initiatives
  • Working with stakeholders to define business problems, requirements, and solution options
  • Ensuring solutions align with corporate strategy and Target Operating Model (TOM)
  • Supporting prioritisation, business cases, and data-informed decision making
  • Collaborating with architecture and delivery teams to ensure successful implementation

What We're Looking For

  • Strong experience as a Senior or Lead Business Analyst within large, complex organisations
  • Experience leading or mentoring BA teams
  • Proven background delivering transformation and change programmes
  • Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
  • Experience with business process improvement and continuous improvement methodologies
  • Ability to operate across both strategic and delivery-focused workstreams
  • Experience within housing or other regulated sectors is highly desirable
  • Exposure to TOM, Business Architecture, or frameworks such as TOGAF would be beneficial
