We are partnering with a leading organisation in the housing and not-for-profit sector to recruit an experienced Business Analyst to support a significant business transformation programme. This is an exciting opportunity to join an organisation that is investing heavily in digital transformation, customer experience, and operational improvement.

The successful candidate will work across business and technology teams to help shape future services, improve processes, and deliver positive outcomes for customers and colleagues.

The Role

As a Business Analyst, you will play a key role in supporting strategic transformation initiatives by gathering requirements, analysing business processes, facilitating stakeholder engagement, and helping design effective business solutions. Working closely with programme leads, subject matter experts, operational teams, and technology specialists, you will help identify opportunities for improvement and ensure business needs are translated into practical and sustainable solutions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Elicit, analyse, and document business requirements from a range of stakeholders.
  • Facilitate workshops, interviews, and discovery sessions to understand business needs and challenges.
  • Analyse and map current and future business processes.
  • Support the development of business cases, recommendations, and solution options.
  • Contribute to business transformation and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Collaborate with project and technology teams throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Support testing, implementation, and change activities to ensure successful delivery.
  • Identify risks, dependencies, and impacts associated with proposed changes.
  • Build strong relationships and influence stakeholders across the organisation.

About You

We are looking for a Business Analyst with strong analytical and stakeholder management skills, ideally gained within a complex transformation or change environment.

Essential Experience

  • Proven experience working as a Business Analyst on transformation, change, or improvement programmes.
  • Strong requirements gathering and process mapping capabilities.
  • Experience facilitating workshops and engaging with stakeholders at multiple levels.
  • Ability to analyse complex business problems and develop practical solutions.
  • Strong communication, documentation, and presentation skills.
  • Experience working across business and technology functions.
  • Knowledge of business process improvement methodologies.

Desirable Experience

  • Experience within housing associations, social housing, public sector, local government, charities, or not-for-profit organisations.
  • Knowledge of CRM, digital transformation, or customer experience programmes.
  • Understanding of Target Operating Models (TOM) and organisational change.
  • Formal Business Analysis qualification (BCS, IIBA, Agile BA or equivalent).
