Key Responsibilities:

Preparing and cooking nutritious meals tailored to dietary requirements

Ensuring all food is prepared to high hygiene and safety standards (following HACCP guidelines)

Managing kitchen operations efficiently, including stock control and food waste reduction

Working closely with kitchen assistants and healthcare teams to provide excellent service

Maintaining cleanliness and hygiene in line with food safety regulations

Requirements:

Previous experience as a Chef in a healthcare, catering, or similar environment

Knowledge of dietary needs, allergens, and nutrition in healthcare settings

Valid Food Hygiene Certificate (Level 2 or higher)

Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain one)

Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends
