This is a 12-month placement opportunity within Leviat for students currently enrolled on a sandwich course or those intending to advance on to a master’s degree following a year in industry. You will gain a comprehensive understanding of our business through a rotational program, spending three months in each of the following departments:

  • Structural Connection - Technical Design and specify relevant structural connection products. Conduct design calculations and modelling.
  • Project Design & Management - Finalize post-order design specifics. Create setting-out drawings for customer approval using BIM software.
  • Masonry Technical Design - Provide technical specifications to customers on the use of masonry products. Assist the commercial team in preparing quotations.
  • Masonry Engineering - Provide technical support internally to the Masonry division. Respond to technical inquiries from customers regarding Leviat products.

Key Requirements:

  • Enrolled in a Bachelor's degree (or higher) in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering or Mechanical Engineering.
  • Basic understanding of structural design principles in steel, concrete, timber and masonry materials.
  • Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD) and Microsoft Office software.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.

Experience:

  • Experience with structural products (e.g., connectors, fasteners).
