About the Job

We’re looking for a Distribution Centre (DC) Returns Operative to support Senior Operatives and Team Leaders, working primarily on the sorting and checking of returned stock. You\’ll help ensure daily targets are met and support key inventory activities such as processing “jackpot” items, ticket cancellations, and location counting.

Key Responsibilities:

• Accurately scan and return Ecommerce orders to stock in line with garment classification and deadlines.

• Assess, record, and store returned stock efficiently, preparing it for re-sort and resale.

• Verify labels and contents of cartons arriving at UWS and adjust inventory records in the Mandate System.

• Consolidate garments from “overthrow/jackpot” areas and update records accordingly.

• Assist in classifying quality-screened garments and updating their physical location.

• Participate in inventory counts to support our Global Audit compliance.

• Follow Health and Safety policies and procedures to ensure a safe working environment.

About You:

• Previous experience in a Returns department is desirable.

• Strong customer orientation.

• A team player with the ability to build partnerships across teams.

• Flexible and adaptable; willing to work across various areas of the DC as needed.

• Good communication skills.

• Confident using computer systems and databases.

• Understanding of Health and Safety practices.
