JOB DESCRIPTION
Purpose:
The Retail Ops Trader will use strong analytical skills and commercial knowledge to drive in-season trading activities to reflect the latest business performance into the trading plan. He/She is collaborating closely with the Senior Trader to drive Country & Store profitability by optimizing stock levels through the management of the Initial Allocation, Replenishment & other operational customer service tasks. He/she will assist in identifying key business issues, provide analysis on opportunity and risk in the business, and make recommendations to drive revenues in stores. This role will collaborate closely with Retail stores & DTC teams.

Key Responsibilities:
- Strong collaboration with the Senior Trader to drive adequate replenishment based on store/market needs
- Conduct quantitative analysis and insights together with the Senior Trader to optimize inventory deployment – monetize new opportunities and identify risks and formulate recommendations
- Execute Initial Allocations in line with the range plans and store grading
- Provide analysis on in-season profitability to achieve or exceed seasonal performance at Geo/Category level
- Ensure & set up promotional pricing in EPOS systems (Raymark/Xstore); communication to stores & with stores during the process & full discounting period
- Generate & issue Pricecats files
- Highlight & execute Store-to-store transfer opportunities & returns
- Identify opportunities in-store to clean Excess inventory
- Close follow-up on customer service activities, inbound/outbound with DC, returns process, 3rd party vendors & deliveries
- Monitor product availability in European warehouses to identify product opportunities in order to drive local commercial initiatives
- Closely collaborate with Planning and Retail Merchandising to reassess in-season performance, leverage key learnings into in-season trading actions and reflect into next season assortment buy
- Regularly visit retail stores to gather market intelligence and reflect key takeaways into in-season trading actions
Education:
- Retail Management, Business Management or Finance
Experience:
- 2+ years of work experience in Retail business; store experience is a great plus
Specialized Knowledge/Technical Skills:
- Analytical skills to interpret meaningful themes from quantitative data
- Understanding of Retail revenue drivers
- Ability to articulate key performance indicators, and how they are used in key systems/tools
- Microsoft Excel
Decision Making and Problem Solving:
- Ability to problem solve through strong partnerships with regional business partners
- Ability to analyze and assess the impact of decisions on department and cross-functional business partners
- Proactively identify business issues and develop creative solutions

Primarily works in an office environment.
- Will be required to travel up to 10% of the time (market visit, customer or internal meetings)
