What you’ll be doing:
As a Mobile App Merchandiser, you will support the Mobile App Trading & Operations Manager in executing the commercial strategy for the Levi’s Mobile App across European markets. The app has been established in some markets for four years, while in others, it is still in its early stages. You will play a key role in driving the app\’s success, optimising its performance, and shaping its future strategy in alignment with the broader Digital DTC goals. Your efforts will contribute to growing the app’s commercial journey and ensuring a positive user experience. You\’ll report to the Mobile App Trading Manager, manage an App Specialist, and collaborate closely with teams across the European Cluster, Global Product IT, and other cross-functional teams from various markets.
The App Team’s objective is to develop the experience relative to the lifecycle of the App product and build the strategy for the future vision in support of the overall Digital DTC strategy, while continuing the positive commercial journey.
Your key responsibilities will include:
CMS Management & Content Execution:
- Manage and further develop the App CMS to create and publish content, support copy translations, update filters and facets across all markets the App is live in.
- Working directly within our Customer Engagement platform, Cordial, managing and supporting App Specialist with push notifications. Consult with Cordial Account Managers on upcoming changes and new functionality/opportunities to enhance CX and trade.
- Support App Specialist with merchandising categories, navigation and discovery feed content to execute in-season trading and showcase key stories.
- Develop good understanding of best Promo Efficiencies for Levi.com and connect with Retail, Planning, Site Operations, Merchandising, Marketing and Finance teams to align on the site activities and plan a successful calendar that hits KPI expectations.
- Implement Loyalty activations for site and App using the Benefits Tool, working closely with regional Loyalty leads and the Global team.
- Drive Core KPIs to deliver sales and optimise the consumer journey across all funnels.
- Oversee team action in delivering excellence and accuracy across the App through strong organisation and seamless go live processes.
- Drive and execute stories and product calendar against commercial expectations and performance, in collaboration with Trading lead.
- Support App Specialist with App Content Requirements – develop and deliver content production briefs to the creative studio.
Reporting:
- Represent industry trends and promotional activities to the wider team, being a voice for the competition. Conduct and share industry reports and benchmarks leading into the Monthly Product Release Calendar and highlighting opportunities.
- Conduct and collate App Analysis using Web Analytic tool (Adobe Omniture) to contribute to key strategic decision making and App/on-site actions.
- In collaboration with Data & Analytics partners, create category, funnel, device and country dashboards to better understand and improve site performance.
- Report out during Monthly Business Review and Weekly Trading Meetings, serving up commercial opportunities.
- Conduct App/Web, Returns and Sales analysis to understand the holistic performance of promotions, looking at revenue, share of overall performance and the net impact of driving conversion, feeding information back to cross-functional partners to drive more efficient promotions. Work with retail partners to see what insights sharing can support the experience for our European market’s consumers.
- Provide insights, analysis and recommendations to global partners to support the development of new features and functionality.
- Work with performance marketing team and App manager to develop reporting on deep linking performance by channel, utilising dashboards within Branch (mobile measurement platform).
Future App Development and Team:
- Own overall accountability for the full European App trading planning and execution.
- Develop talent and build effective team processes, in cooperation with the Global and Digital Merch, as well as other cross-functional teams such as Site Ops, Merchandising and Performance Marketing.
- Attend external vendor workshops and training to develop skillset and understanding of platforms we use and explore opportunities with new vendors.
- Review competitor propositions and how Levi’s App compares, pairing with insights and consumer feedback. Circulate recommendations with wider business and global partners to influence roadmap.
- Use analytics tools (Quantum Metric) to identify consumer pain points and opportunities to improve the app experience. Work with the App Manager to develop funnel analysis.
About you:
- Previous experience within a Digital role, working within a Back Office platform/CMS and producing content for a digital channel.
- Experience working with web analytical tools.
- Attention to detail, with an eye for creative design. Photoshop skills preferred, but not essential.
- Basic understanding of UX & UI principles, with a consumer-focused, commercial mindset.
- Possesses initiative, technical curiosity, and a natural problem solver.
- A team player who enjoys building relationships and working collaboratively across multiple teams.
- Open-minded, with the ability to adapt within a fast-paced environment.
- Understanding of the digital retail landscape, with a particular interest in Apps and first-hand experience of using them.
