We are partnering with a high-growth, independent investment firm to appoint an Italian-speaking Sales Director. This is a rare opportunity to take ownership of a greenfield territory, driving new institutional and wealth management relationships across Italy, Southern Switzerland and the wider Mediterranean region, while being based in London. You will join an ambitious, entrepreneurial environment with significant headroom for career growth and compensation upside, supported by an exceptional platform of both liquid and private market investment strategies.
Role Overview
- Build and develop new relationships with investors across Italy, Southern Switzerland and wider Mediterranean markets.
- Work alongside senior colleagues to position the firm as a strategic partner for institutional allocators, private banks, wealth managers and family offices.
- Originate and convert new business opportunities, tailoring solutions across liquid, alternative and private market strategies.
- Represent the firm in market: delivering product updates, investment insights and market commentary, and conveying client feedback internally.
- Maintain high-quality account management: service plans, portfolio reviews, reporting requirements and ongoing relationship development.
Experience & Skills Required
- Established network of institutional investors, private banks, wealth managers and/or family offices across Italy and Southern Switzerland.
- Strong product knowledge spanning alternative, private market and liquid investment strategies, with the ability to structure bespoke solutions.
- Fluent in Italian (and English), with outstanding interpersonal, presentation and communication skills.
- Proactive, entrepreneurial and commercially driven, with a track record of originating and closing new business.
- Organised, analytical and collaborative, thriving in a meritocratic, fast-paced environment with high integrity and cultural sensitivity.
