Our client is seeking an exceptional candidate ideally from a family office with significant experience in manager research across public and private markets.
Key Responsibilities
- Strategy and Origination: develop and manage the firm-wide product pipeline across public and private asset classes and geographies.
- Leverage extensive use of their network to keep up to date with product launches and excellent boutique managers.
- Lead internal product governance and approval processes, ensuring clear commercial accountability.
- Select optimal fund vehicles and domiciles in collaboration with internal teams.
- Oversee the successful delivery of multiple annual product launches, on time and within budget.
- Monitor product performance, flows, and client engagement to ensure continued relevance and profitability.
- Lead updates to product design, pricing, or structure where needed to maintain competitiveness.
Experience & Qualifications
- 10–15+ years’ experience external manager research and fund selection within asset management, ideally at a family office in the CIO office.
- Deputy CIO at family office in manager research experience would be ideal.
- Proven success introducing both liquid and illiquid products (UCITS, AIF/LPs, SMAs, mandates).
- Commercially minded with a successful track record.
- Familiarity with UCITS, AIFMD, MiFID II, and SFDR frameworks advantageous.
- Excellent project leadership, communication, and stakeholder-management skills.
