They are currently looking to hire an Investment Analyst to join their European Equities team. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to the growth of two high-conviction equity income strategies, including a recently launched fund. The role offers a chance to be part of a collaborative and high-performing investment team with a clear philosophy centred around quality, value, income, and conviction.

Key responsibilities:

  • Conduct in-depth fundamental research on companies and industries across a range of market capitalisations.
  • Develop financial models and investment screens to support idea generation.
  • Participate in meetings with company management teams and attend industry conferences.
  • Prepare and present investment ideas and insights clearly and persuasively to the team.
  • Engage in environmental, social, and governance (ESG) research and track engagement efforts.
  • Contribute to portfolio construction discussions and ongoing strategy refinement.
  • Support the preparation of investment materials, including fund updates, performance analysis, and marketing content.
  • Assist with broader franchise development, including new product initiatives and client engagement.

Candidate profile:

  • 2–6 years of relevant experience in the buy-side.
  • Strong analytical skills and a passion for company research and valuation.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to clearly present investment ideas both in writing and verbally.
  • Educated to degree level, with strong academic credentials. Progress toward a professional qualification (e.g. CFA) is preferred.
  • Comfortable using Excel (for modelling and analysis), Bloomberg, and PowerPoint.
  • A proactive and adaptable team player who can also take initiative independently.
  • Experience in European equity markets and fluency in an additional European language would be advantageous.

Due to the volume of applications, we may not be able to respond to everyone individually unless your experience closely matches the requirements outlined above.
