We are a well-regarded, City-based recruitment firm specialising in exclusive, retained and contingency search for the investment management industry. We are a close-knit, collaborative team and culture genuinely matters to us. We care about doing great work and enjoying it together.

This is a 180-degree role focused on account management and delivery. You will manage and develop candidate relationships, support existing client mandates and help us identify people who reflect our ethos: curiosity, determination, commitment and drive.

At Leverton Search, we are known for our strong moral compass and thoughtful, responsive approach to both clients and candidates. The candidate and client journey is key to our reputation and success.

We are highly engaged in the industry. We host roundtables with senior leaders across investment management – including COOs, Heads of Investment, Marketing leaders and climate specialists – and you will help support and shape these initiatives. Our female IMPACT network brings together over 500 women across the industry; we run events from International Women’s Day panels (“Can You Have It All?”) to our “Desk to Disco” evening at Charlotte Tilbury’s flagship store, all designed to support and inspire careers.

You will work closely with senior team members to:

  • Source, approach and engage high-calibre candidates (including headhunting those not actively looking)
  • Build and maintain strong candidate pipelines across key investment management roles
  • Draft and post compelling, anonymised adverts on LinkedIn and eFinancialCareers
  • Screen and assess candidates against our core drivers: curiosity, motivation, determination and engagement
  • Manage applications, coordinate interviews and support candidates through each stage of the process
  • Prepare CVs and candidate summaries for clients and support offer and placement stages
  • Meet candidates in person and develop a deep understanding of our clients’ businesses and cultures

What we are looking for:

  • 6 months to 3 years’ experience in a recruitment or client-facing role
  • An interest in, or exposure to, the investment management industry is a plus
  • Understanding of (or appetite to learn) how to use social media to help build a brand is an advantage
  • Degree educated, career-minded and keen to grow in a boutique, high-performing environment
  • Someone who enjoys being part of a friendly, supportive team and believes you can work hard and have fun at the same time

We are committed to equity and fairness throughout our recruitment process. If there is anything we can do to make the process more accessible for you, please let us know.
