Responsibilities
- Portfolio development and marketing. Contribute to the growth of Fixed Income capabilities by engaging with clients, prospects, and consultants.
- Be the mouthpiece for portfolio managers, communicating investment strategies and portfolios to a range of internal and external audiences.
- Evaluate new business opportunities and assist with the development of new products, identifying areas of high potential.
- Create and implement marketing strategy, marketing materials and other collateral, RFP’s, DDQ’s and additional investment guidelines.
- Commercially differentiate and position strategies relative to those of competitors, proactively producing and/or contributing to original thought pieces and white papers to support the commercialisation effort.
- Develop strong working relationships with Portfolio Managers, Sales and Relationship Management colleagues.
Requirements
- Strong academic background and credentials.
- 3 - 7 years of related professional experience, ideally within the Asset Management industry, or institutional investment consulting.
- Strong technical skills and mastery of MS Excel, excellent written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills.
- A Fixed Income background: Product specialism.
- Strong attention to detail, combined with a solutions-oriented mindset and the ability to work independently and in a team environment, and to manage multiple priorities.
- The willingness to develop knowledge of non-traditional instruments and complex investment strategies.
