A leading global asset manager is seeking an experienced Active ETF Product Development professional to lead the design, development, and launch of a new suite of active ETFs as part of a high-profile strategic initiative.
This role offers the opportunity to shape the future of an established asset manager’s ETF platform, working at the intersection of product strategy, structuring, development and management.
This role will initially start as a one year fixed term contract.

As part of a central product strategy team, you will drive a flagship initiative to expand the firm’s ETF capabilities.
This role blends strategic leadership, product innovation, and hands-on execution ideal for a senior product professional passionate about ETF innovation and delivery within a complex, multi-affiliate environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Strategic Leadership: Lead the development and implementation of a new active ETF product strategy, aligned with global business priorities and market opportunities.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with affiliates, investment teams, distribution, and operational stakeholders to ensure a cohesive and scalable product design.
- Product Structuring: Define the investment strategy, structure, and operational design of the ETFs, ensuring compliance with regulatory frameworks and internal capabilities.
- Product Launch Management: Conduct feasibility assessments, oversee timelines, coordinate operational set-up, and support go-to-market execution.
- Stakeholder Education: Act as a subject matter expert on ETFs, supporting internal teams and partners to embed ETF-specific knowledge across the business.
About You
- Minimum 10 years’ experience in asset management within product strategy, development, or structuring.
- Proven track record in ETF product development, ideally including active or semi-transparent structures.
- Strong understanding of ETF regulation, operations, and market ecosystem.
- Excellent stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence across global teams and affiliates.
- Highly results-oriented, strategic, and adaptable - able to thrive in a fast-paced, multi-location environment.
