Exciting opportunity; a top performing investment manager is looking for an experienced equity analyst with 5-10 years’ experience to join their growing team.
Our client is a highly-respected 100% management-owned investment firm with a strong track record of investment performance, enduring client relationships, and a culture that invests in the business and its staff for the longer-term. They are a profitable and well-resourced business with a non-hierarchical structure where the input and opinions of all members of its investment team are listened to and valued.
Responsibilities
- Conduct in-depth research on publicly listed companies and develop robust investment theses
- Design work plans, source information, build financial models, and assess valuation to make portfolio recommendations
- Conduct due diligence interviews with company management and independent experts
- Present investment research in team meetings and one-on-one settings
- Write details notes summarizing investment theses
- Evaluate investment research and decisions made by other team members and contribute to their portfolio recommendations
Requirements
- Undergraduate degree with excellent academic qualifications
- 5-10 years’ buy-side experience
- Passion for investing and ability to carefully consider risk and reward
- Strong financial and commercial analytic skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Team player
