Leverton Rose have an exciting opportunity based in Loughborough and are looking for an experienced Sign Maker. This is preferably a management role, however, the client is happy for you to start at Supervisory level and step up within 6 - 12 months. You will be working as part of a small team, with a leading sign and vehicle graphics company providing great customer service for over 25 years.
Successful applicants should ideally have the following experience including:
- At least 2 years signs industry experience across a wide range of signage.
- Excellent knowledge of wide format full-colour printers, standard vinyl plotters and laminators.
- Proficient in the application of vinyl onto a variety of substrates including vehicles.
- Managed production workflow.
- Computer literate with design and production software including Adobe Illustrator, Flexisign Signlab and Omega.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Experience with client surveys, capturing relevant information required for quotations.
- Calculation of all the human and material resources required for an order.
- Installation experience desirable.
- Preparation of visuals and artwork when required for customer approvals.
- Management, including records of production equipment and vehicles.
- IPAF/PASMA/CSCS accreditations desired.
- Full and clean driving licence preferred.
Additionally, the ability to interpret signage briefs accurately and a strong understanding of signage and manufacturing techniques. Complete paperwork to a high standard, ready for invoicing. Understanding of health and safety best practice. Full time position but flexible to work outside of normal hours when required.
