The School is looking to appoint a Teaching Assistant with experience of working with a range of special educational needs. Your main purpose is to work directly with a range of vulnerable students, including those at school support and/or have an Education Health Care Plan, within the resource provision; taking responsibility for agreed learning activities under an agreed system of supervision (subject to the direction and supervision of the SENDCO).
Key responsibilities include:
- Planning, preparing and delivering learning activities for individuals/groups/whole classes.
- Monitoring students and assessing, recording and reporting on student(s) achievement, progress and development.
- Management and development of a specialist area within the school and/or supervision of other teaching assistants including appraisal and training.

Salary: Grade F SCP17 SCP23 Actual salary £26,534- £29,453 Plus SEN Allowance of £1,316 37 hours per week Term Time Plus 5 days.
