A leading Investment Bank is seeking a Relationship Manager - Energy Transition & Natural Resources to join their team in London.

Overall Purpose: Coverage & Advisory for ETNR UK provides clients with tailor-made solutions including financial advisory, structured finance, investment banking and M&A services. Our mission is to develop relationships with clients and prospects.

Main Responsibilities:

  • The Director’s primary task in Coverage & Advisory ETNR UK is to initiate and coordinate relationships and Corporate & Investment Banking activities on a portfolio of clients and prospects across the ETNR sectors, in coordination with the strategy set by the ETNR senior bankers and management.
  • Coverage of UK corporates and funds, together with and in support of the UK ETNR coverage team.
  • Manage the bank's relationships with these clients as part of the Bank.
  • Act as a key point of contact between the Bank and the clients/prospects.
  • Contribute to the overall strategy of the UK ETNR business.
  • Develop in-depth knowledge of the clients' organisation, business, financials, strategy and objectives.
  • Identify client strategic and financing needs and propose solutions.
  • Generate pitch ideas for the target list of clients/prospects.
  • Propose and implement commercial action plans for target clients/prospects.
  • Identify potential business with each client/prospects and introduce Business Lines.
  • Support Business Lines in the relationship with the existing and prospect clients.
  • Work with the various business lines to develop and support the ETNR business plan and budget.
  • Mapping and onboarding of prospects as new clients.
  • Coordinate communications and tasks with management/risk/compliance.
  • Prepare & present relationship to Bizcom/NCC on clients/transactions.
  • Track corporate coverage profitability of assigned clients/prospects.
  • Work with Client Portfolio Relationship Management to optimize risk exposure & distribution.
  • Support deals negotiations and credit analysis in cooperation with the relevant Business Lines.
  • Identify risks or inefficiencies in the organisation and propose remedies or improvements.
  • Lead by example and act as a mentor and contribute to the development and evaluation of junior staff.
