Support three senior bankers in London with business development and client activity to establish and grow relationships with our global clients. The intern will play an important role in supporting business development, deal origination and execution, and coverage of clients in London. The candidate will collaborate with the senior bankers based in London, as well as more broadly with the global team.
The candidate will work closely with Business Lines including Acquisition and Structured Finance, Structured Equity Capital Markets, Real Assets, Global Markets, Industry Groups, as well as M Financial Security requirements, including but not limited to the prevention of Financial Crime and Fraud, including reporting obligations to the Money Laundering Reporting Officer.
Key Skills/Experience:
- Minimum 2:1 Degree or equivalent
- Previous internship/experience in Investment Banking or Private Equity/Infrastructure Fund
- Strong interest in financial markets and private equity
- Solid knowledge and experience in using Excel and PowerPoint
- Attention to detail
- Good sense of judgement
- Self-starter and ability to work independently
- Ability to manage multiple priorities to work effectively under pressure
- Team spirit, commitment and flexibility
- Integrity and trustworthiness
- Proficiency in English (written and verbal)
