A global, fast‑paced organisation within the technology and media sector is looking to hire a recently qualified accountant to join its growing finance team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone currently in audit (Big 4 or mid‑tier) who is looking to make a move into accounting.
The role will play a key part in supporting the global finance function, with a particular focus on month‑end close, financial reporting, and controls, within an international and dynamic environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the preparation and execution of monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes
- Assist with statutory reporting across multiple jurisdictions
- Perform analysis of operating expenses to ensure accurate reporting
- Support SEC filings and SOX compliance activities
- Identify opportunities for process improvements and efficiencies
- Work closely with global stakeholders across multiple time zones
- Provide support on ad hoc reporting and finance projects
Experience Qualifications
- ACA / ACCA / CIMA / CPA qualified (or equivalent), ideally recently qualified
- Audit background (Big 4 or mid‑tier preferred), looking to transition into an industry role
- Strong working knowledge of US GAAP (essential)
- Solid understanding of financial reporting and internal controls
- 1–5 years’ experience, ideally within a practice environment
- Experience within technology or media sector s is advantageous but not essential
- Knowledge of Workday Financials is a plus
- Advanced Excel skills required
- Strong communication skills and ability to work in a fast‑moving, global environment
