A great opportunity for a seasoned Banking professional who operates within the Structured Finance Real Estate Finance field to lead the execution of our strategic initiatives. This role requires a strong focus on managing and monitoring a diverse portfolio of real estate loans, sourcing new opportunities, and ensuring adherence to internal approval processes.
Main Responsibilities:
- Implement the UK Real Estate strategy in collaboration with senior management and global team leaders.
- Originate and execute real estate finance transactions while ensuring compliance with credit, legal, and tax requirements, and evaluating the commercial viability of transactions as well as their syndication or securitization potential.
- Oversee the execution phase of transactions, guaranteeing accurate and timely completion in line with advisor recommendations and overall business objectives.
- Act as the first line of defence in managing risk within real estate finance activities.
- Participate in investor roadshows and syndication meetings to represent the firm as needed.
- Contribute to internal business and credit committees by providing insights from the UK Real Estate Finance team.
- Supervise the ongoing management of real estate transactions after closing and recommend actions to safeguard the firm’s interests in the loan portfolio.
Key Skills & Experience:
- Proven experience in marketing and originating Real Estate Structured Finance transactions.
- Comprehensive knowledge of the UK real estate market and its key stakeholders.
- Extensive experience with structured finance techniques as they apply to real estate transactions.
- Familiarity with rating agency requirements and the dynamics of capital markets.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to manage teams effectively.
