Role Overview
The Senior Talent Advisor will lead full lifecycle recruitment across Investment Banking and Corporate Functions business lines. This role requires deep domain expertise in financial services and the ability to partner closely with senior stakeholders to deliver top-tier talent in highly competitive markets.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Sourcing and Recruiting - Leverage online recruiting resources, internal ATS, and industry networks to identify and attract talent within investment banking and corporate functions.
- Build and maintain strong pipelines of candidates with relevant banking experience.
- Proactively recruit, qualify, and assess candidates for complex roles.
- Evaluate resumes with a strong understanding of banking-specific skillsets.
- Develop talent pipelines aligned to hiring needs.
- Relationship Management - Partner with senior leadership across investment banking and corporate functions.
- Build strong relationships with HR and business stakeholders.
- Mentor junior recruiters on financial services recruiting practices.
- Process Management - Manage full lifecycle recruiting including sourcing, interviewing, and offer negotiation.
- Conduct behavioral interviews tailored to banking roles.
- Lead interview debriefs and provide market-informed feedback.
- Ensure compliance and maintain documentation.
- Management and Training - Train hiring managers on recruitment best practices.
- Ensure compliance with financial services regulations.
- Reporting / Market Intelligence - Stay informed on investment banking and financial services hiring trends.
- Provide market insights and track recruitment metrics.
- Administrative - Perform additional duties as required.
Required Skills and Attributes
- Proven experience recruiting within investment banking and/or corporate functions in financial services.
- Strong understanding of banking structures and roles.
- Expertise in full lifecycle recruiting.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities.
- High level of discretion and confidentiality.
- Strong analytical and project management skills.
- Proficiency in ATS systems and LinkedIn.
- Advanced Microsoft Office skills.
Education and Work Experience
- 8+ years of full lifecycle recruiting experience within Investment Banking and Corporate Functions.
- Experience as a Senior Talent Advisor or equivalent.
- Hands-on experience working within or closely aligned to banking environments is required.
