Join to apply for the Senior Product Designer role at Levellr. Levellr is the enterprise marketing solution for Discord, used by some of the world’s largest gaming companies, brands, and music labels to help them grow, manage and monetise communities on Discord. We’re looking for an experienced, strategic, and collaborative Senior Product Designer to join a core product trio alongside a product manager and engineering lead. This role requires a full-stack design skillset, balancing a passion for user-centric solutions with both business goals and technical constraints. You will be responsible for the end-to-end design process, from partnering on user research and prototyping to shipping high-quality, intuitive SaaS experiences.
Responsibilities
- Cross-functional collaboration: Works closely within their core product trio—product manager, product designer, and engineering lead—and stakeholders to prioritise and shape strategic initiatives and drive them from discovery through delivery, release, and beyond.
- User-centric approach: Empathises with users, understands their needs, problems, and goals, and designs solutions that meet their needs and solve their problems.
- Business and technical acumen: Designs solutions that balance user needs, business goals, and technical constraints—making sure all needs are successfully met.
- User researcher: Partners with the product manager to plan and run user research and validation efforts, gather feedback, and translate it into actionable insights that drive product initiatives and iterations.
- Prototyper: Leverages prototyping to make solutions tangible, discuss them with team members and stakeholders, validate them with users, and iterate on them based on insights, feedback, and findings.
- Design–engineering partner: Thrives in close collaboration, working side-by-side with engineers, and is open and comfortable quickly iterating on solutions all the way through delivery.
- Technical literacy: Designs with (not against) the grain of the Web—embracing its principles, patterns, and constraints. Has a working knowledge of how web sites and apps are built—experience coding (or vibe coding) is a plus, but not required. Has AI familiarity, whether from using AI regularly or from designing for AI.
- Design system: Co-owns Levellr’s design system and evolves it by creating and maintaining scalable, reusable components and patterns that deliver a coherent, consistent user experience across the product.
- Lifelong learner: Stays up to date with the best design practices, methodologies, trends, emerging technologies, and competitor solutions to keep Levellr on the cutting edge—and eagerly shares these learnings with the team.
- Iterative design process: Works in fast design iterations and feedback loops, maintaining speed without compromising quality.
- Systems thinker: Designs with the big picture in mind, making sure solutions fit smoothly within the broader system.
Qualifications
- Experience: Over 5 years in software or digital product design, with a strong portfolio of user-centered, high-quality UX and UI work in SaaS products — ideally with dashboards and data visualisation.
- Full-stack design skills: Skilled in both interaction and visual design, with a strong grasp of how to create intuitive, delightful digital product experiences and interfaces.
- Design rationale: Makes informed design decisions, backs them up with clear rationales, and ties them to both user needs, business goals, and technical constraints.
- Communication skills: Strong communicator who can clearly explain and support design decisions, and advocate for the user in a collaborative environment.
- Adaptability: Thrives in a fast-paced, agile environment where priorities can shift as Levellr grows and evolves.
- Keen eye for details: Has a keen eye for interaction and visual design details, but also knows when to move fast and be scrappy, and when to slow down and be precise.
- Design tool proficiency: Expert in designing with Figma. Familiar with tools like Notion and Linear.
