An exciting opportunity has arisen for a dynamic and commercially driven Sales Manager to lead a well-established team at a leading food supplier in the region. This business services a wide variety of clients across the North West including pubs, restaurants, schools, hotels, and healthcare providers such as care homes and hospitals. The business has ambitious plans to grow over the next four years and are looking for an accomplished Sales Manager to lead their sales strategy.

The successful candidate will be an inspiring sales leader with a proven track record in managing high-performing teams. They will be responsible for driving sales growth, improving margin performance, and working collaboratively across departments to deliver exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead and manage the internal and external sales team to meet and exceed budgeted sales and margin targets
  • Take ownership of KPIs and year-on-year performance
  • Contribute to commercial decisions, including buying and forecasting
  • Monitor and improve customer experience through service excellence
  • Collaborate closely with operations and transport to ensure seamless service delivery
  • Oversee HR matters within the sales team, including development and succession planning
