If so, this Area Sales Manager role could be the perfect opportunity for you! We are looking for an ambitious and dynamic Area Sales Manager to join a highly respected team, covering West Yorkshire. As part of a market-leading wholesale food distributor, you’ll play a vital role in driving sales, developing customer relationships, and making a real impact to the business. What You’ll Be Doing: * Growing Sales & Profitability – You’ll take ownership of your territory, working towards ambitious targets while maintaining our commitment to outstanding customer service. * Building Strong Customer Relationships – By understanding customer needs and providing tailored solutions, you’ll ensure customer satisfaction and long-term loyalty. * Developing New Business – Proactively identifying and winning new accounts through canvassing, networking, and strategic prospecting. * Analysing & Optimising Performance – Using sales data to identify trends, minimise order losses, and maximise opportunities. * Collaborating for Success – Working closely with Category Specialists and other colleagues to deliver a coordinated and effective sales approach. What We’re Looking For: * Proven Sales Success – A strong track record of exceeding sales targets in a similar field-based role. * Outstanding Relationship-Building Skills – The ability to engage with customers and provide exceptional service. * A Results-Driven Mindset – Motivated by achieving and exceeding targets in a competitive market. * Flexibility & Adaptability – A proactive, can-do attitude with a passion for delivering solutions. * A Full UK Driving Licence – As this is a field-based role, you must be able to travel within your territory.
