We're Hiring: Part-Time Youth Worker
Level Two Youth Project is looking for a passionate and committed Part-Time Youth Worker to join our growing team and make a real difference in the lives of young people aged 7-25 years and their families.
Location: Town Centre Hub & Micklegate Road Youth abd Community Space
Salary: £13.85 per hour (£11,555 per annum)
Hours: 16 hours per week
Start Date: September 2026
About the Role
- One-to-one mentoring
- Small group work in schools
- Open access youth sessions
- Community outreach and detached youth work
- Supporting young people with sexual health advice in line with Terrence Higgins Trust guidance
You will manage a caseload of young people, monitor progress, and help evidence positive outcomes while contributing to a safe, engaging, and supportive environment.
What We're Looking For
- Level 3 Youth Work qualification (or relevant equivalent)
- Experience working with children and young people
- Strong commitment to safeguarding young people and vulnerable adults
- Ability to work flexibly, including evenings and weekends
