Level Best Enterprises is looking for a caring, enthusiastic and reliable person to join our team as a Training Facilitator – Front of House. The role will be based at our purpose-built hub on St John’s Street, Colchester, supporting adults and young people with learning disabilities in our café, art gallery, gardening and seasonal enterprises.

Key Responsibilities

  • Preparing hot and cold drinks
  • Serving customers
  • Operating the till
  • Preparing food
  • Following food hygiene and allergen procedures
  • Keeping the café area clean, welcoming and well organised
  • Building confidence through meaningful work‑based activities
  • Helping trainees set and work towards personal goals
  • Supporting reviewers and contributing to assessments via a person‑centred keyworker system

Qualifications & Skills

We are looking for someone with experience, skills or a strong interest in customer service, hospitality, and food preparation. Patient, organised, flexible and passionate about supporting people with learning disabilities are essential qualities. Experience working with people with learning disabilities is desirable but not essential. A Food Hygiene certificate, or willingness to obtain one, is required.

Working Conditions

Part‑time, 20 hours per week. Usual working hours are 10am to 2pm, Monday to Friday, with occasional evening and weekend work. Annual leave is 25 days pro rata plus bank holidays.
