We are now seeking a dynamic, people-centred Village Manager to lead our beautiful Salford Park community in Wantirna, an established village with heart, character and a passionate group of residents and team members.

You’ll lead your team, build meaningful resident relationships, solve problems with confidence, and ensure the village runs safely, smoothly and to a high standard. What you’ll be responsible for

  • Leading a thriving community

  • Ensuring residents feel heard, respected and engaged
  • Managing day-to-day village operations
  • Overseeing the smooth running of the village, facilities and shared spaces

  • Ensuring apartments and amenities are well-presented and maintained
  • Managing budgets, reporting and key performance metrics
  • Supporting asset renewal, upgrades and improvement projects
  • Ensuring compliance with legislative, safety and operational requirements
  • Leading, coaching and developing a team
  • Creating a high-performance, customer-focused culture

What you’ll bring

We are looking for a leader who enjoys bringing people together, solving problems and creating a community where residents feel supported and safe. You will ideally bring:

  • Experience in retirement living, property or asset management, hospitality, facilities management or a service-focused industry
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills
  • A proactive, solutions-focused mindset
  • Comfort working with budgets, systems and compliance requirements
  • A calm, resilient and supportive leadership style
  • Previous people leadership experience
  • Knowledge of the Retirement Villages Act or similar (desirable)
