As a leader in CNC machining and work truck and van upfits for over 85 years, we are adding another Installer/Mechanic to our team due to increased work volume. We are looking for an individual with a go-getter attitude and high attention to detail, and your attendance must be punctual and reliable. This person is vital to our daily operations so please do not apply if this does not describe your work ethic.

This position will install new truck equipment on low and medium-duty commercial vehicles. We are a certified dealer for companies that specialize in truck bodies including Knapheide, Air-Flo, EZ Dumper, Truck Craft, EBY, Morgan and more. We are also a certified dealer and installer for many other truck equipment companies such as BOSS Snowplow, VanAir, Force America, Weather Guard, Ranger, Whelen and many other leading brands. A candidate with experience in truck equipment installations is a plus.

RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:

  • Install truck bodies and equipment as outlined on work orders
  • Service/repair truck equipment as needed
  • Work with new install and parts departments to ensure a smooth workflow process

REQUIREMENTS:

  • A minimum of 3 years of truck installation or mechanical experience, including hydraulic, pneumatic, and/or electrical or wiring installation, service and repair
  • PA State inspection, ASE Diesel Certificate, and CDL licenses a plus but not required
  • Must have your own tools
  • Ability to lift 50+ pounds
  • Minimum of a High School Diploma (or equivalent) but certification from a vocational school or apprenticeship is preferred
  • Must have a valid driver's license and good driving record
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Must be able to meet deadlines
  • Pre-employment background check and drug screening are required

COMPENSATION:

This position offers a competitive salary based on experience. Work hours are Monday through Thursday, 6am to 4:30pm, and Friday, 6am to 11am. Additional overtime opportunities may be required as needed.
