We’re looking for our newest member of Leumi UK in our Real Estate Finance team. The purpose of the role is to pro-actively and diligently manage a portfolio of Leumi UK Real Estate clients, with support from Portfolio Managers and Relationship Managers. Furthermore, originate new business opportunities from existing clients sponsors of Leumi UK. Seek to establish and lead any business enhancing strategies which will help to move forward the Leumi UK Real Estate Finance business. The role will involve increasing brand awareness of Leumi UK as a specialist Real Estate lender, through first class relationship management and portfolio management, whilst ensuring the highest quality credit risk analysis.

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee and manage a portfolio of clients for the Leumi UK real estate finance business; ensuring diligent analysis of loan performance and preparing information for Credit review in collaboration with Portfolio Managers and Relationship Managers.
  • Ensure effective credit risk stewardship, especially on existing loans and with new origination from the existing client base.
  • Support with the preparation and execution of strategic plans to help enhance the Leumi UK real estate finance business.
  • Help to execute the 2030 LUK program.
  • Take a leading role in ensuring that the Real Estate Finance team take responsibility for Risk and are operating in a control environment following all necessary policies and procedures that are in place.
  • Ensure Leumi UK's policies and procedures relevant to the role are adhered to.
  • Maintain the highest standards in terms of First Line of Defence responsibilities with particular focus on portfolio management.
  • Carry out all relevant stakeholder management in an exemplary manner.
  • Demonstrate, embed and live Leumi UK guiding principles.
  • Serve as a Leumi UK brand ambassador with regards to clients, professionals; group and internal stakeholders.

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Demonstrable relevant sector experience in real estate finance.
  • Formal and on-the-job credit training.
  • Knowledge of Leumi UK credit policy and procedures.
  • High quality and mature external professional network.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Being able to lead by example.
  • Ability to develop and motivate team members as well as work collaboratively as part of a team.
  • Degree level education in a relevant subject (or equivalent industry experience).
  • Professional qualification in either property or banking (or equivalent industry experience).
