THE ROLE

Working as a key member of a multi-disciplinary care team, you'll provide person-centred care to guests supporting them with daily activities including personal care.

MAIN DUTIES & KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Support guests with personal care, daily living activities and nutrition.
  • Respond to call bells and report any concerns to nursing staff.
  • Record care provided and changes using care documentation systems.
  • Promote dignity, independence, equality and choice for all guests.
  • Support the emotional and wellbeing needs of guests and visitors.
  • Follow all Leuchie House policies and care plans.
  • Follow Health & Safety, hygiene, COSHH and manual handling procedures.
  • Maintain confidentiality at all times.
  • Carry out any other reasonable duties as required.

PERSON SPECIFICATION

  • Right to work in the UK (essential)
  • Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle (Preferred due to our remote location)
  • No experience necessary (fully funded training provided)
  • Good communication skills
  • Caring and compassionate
  • Positive, friendly, can-do attitude
  • Completion of a satisfactory Protection of Vulnerable Groups (PVG) check
