The Role

We are a forward thinking, progressive, innovative healthcare charity, providing exceptional respite holidays for people with neurological conditions. Working as a key member of a multi‑disciplinary care team, you’ll provide person‑centred care to guests supporting them with evening activities including personal care. This position is 12 hours a week.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Care Responsibilities
    • Deliver high‑quality, person‑centred care to guests
    • Support all aspects of daily living, including personal care and nutrition
    • Contribute to shift handovers and ongoing care reviews
    • Support emotional, pastoral and spiritual wellbeing of guests and families
    • Promote dignity, independence, equality and choice at all times
  • Organisation & Coordination
    • Support guest admissions and departures, ensuring a warm, welcoming experience
    • Support guest activities, outings and appointments
  • Team & Leadership
    • Work collaboratively with care teams to maintain high standards
    • Support, guide and develop staff, including training where required
  • General
    • Maintain confidentiality at all times
    • Undertake additional duties as required

Person Specification

  • Right to work in the UK (essential)
  • Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle (Preferred due to our remote location)
  • No experience necessary (fully funded training provided)
  • Good communication skills
  • Caring and compassionate
  • Positive, friendly, can‑do attitude
  • Completion of a satisfactory Protection of Vulnerable Groups (PVG) check
