Job Description
The Business Analyst will pay a key role directly supporting the leadership team by ensuring we are operating in as efficient and controlled a manner possible to drive profitability and support our industry leading quality metrics.
The role will be part analysis & process oversight to help longer term business outcomes and part real-time intervention & control to immediately impact same day results.
As such it will suit those who are capable of detailed analysis of high volumes of data as often required in blue chip environments but also like to see immediate tangible outcomes from their work rather than just being a small cog in a big machine.
The successful candidate will report to the MD with a dotted line to the CEO and will work alongside the Sales floor, QAR and Operations teams. As such this is an exciting and wide ranging opportunity right at the heart of a dynamic business.
Sample Duties & Responsibilities
Daily real-time activities:
· Monitoring of operational data and processes
· Exception reporting and control measures
· Lead management and distribution to sales team
· Submitting and processing lead refund requests
· Checking and maintaining data integrity across the business
Weekly / Monthly analysis activities:
· Commission reconciliation and investigations
· Market share analysis and interventions
· Profitability analysis by source and channel
· Flagging up changes and trends
· Reporting to senior management
· Support with budget building and financial modelling
Required Experience & Skills
· Dynamic \’can do\’ attitude & personality
· Strong experience in data analysis
· Excellent Excel skill level
· Experience in creating and delivering reports to management
· Naturally inquisitive nature to spot and highlight trends
· Forensic attention to detail and strong follow through
· Great communication and teamworking skills
· Ability to communicate and act in an authoritative manner
Ideal Experience & Skills
· Blue chip employment experience
· Personal interest in the industry or lead generation
· Previous experience working in financial services
· Experience in CRM systems
· Experience with databases
Education Requirements
· Graduate level or equivalent qualification
· Education in IT or numerical disciplines would be an advantage
Pay & Benefits Summary
£25,500 to £30,000 FTE depending on experience
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent
Pay: £25,500.00-£30,000.00 per year
Expected hours: 32 – 40 per week
