Are you an experienced conveyancer with leadership skills, ready to take on a management role? I’m seeking a Conveyancing Team Leader to oversee a high-performing team of conveyancers, fee earners, and administrators. In addition to managing your own caseload, you'll play a key role in driving team performance, maintaining excellent client service, and contributing to the firm’s overall success.
What you’ll be doing:
- Managing a small team, made up of experienced Conveyancing Executives and Conveyancing Support
- Leading from the front by running your own caseload (~60-80 files) including freehold, leasehold, new build, and limited company transactions
- Ensuring high standards of compliance, client care, and performance across the team
- Supporting team members through coaching, file reviews, and one-to-ones
- Monitoring team performance and reporting KPIs to senior leadership
- Playing a key role in onboarding, training, and developing team members
Requirements
What we’re looking for:
- Ideally 5+ years experience in conveyancing as a full fee earner, handling casefiles from instruction to completion
- Proven experience managing/leading a team within a conveyancing environment
- Solid background in handling a varied caseload, including freehold, leasehold, and new build transactions
- Confident in complex title matters and volume residential work
- Strong organisational skills and a detail-focused approach
- Able to lead by example and motivate a team to hit targets, alongside developing staff and ensuring high standards of service
- Financial awareness and experience working towards targets
